ቤትህን አስተካክል


 "ሕዝቤ ሰንፈዋልና አላወቁኝም፤…። 
ማስተዋልም የላቸውም፤ ክፉ ነገርን ለማድረግ ብልሃተኞች ናቸው በጎ ነገርን ማድረግ ግን አያውቁም።" (ኤር.፬፡፳፪)

በእጅህ ያኖርኩትን የብርሃን ፀዳል መቅረዙን
              ከስፍራው መጥቼ ሳልወስደው፣
ከዝናም በኋላ ደመናት ሳይሸሹ ፀሐይ
          ሳትጨልም ቀኑን ሳልጋርደው፣
ከማሳው ያለውን ፍሬ አልባ ዘርህን ማለዳ
       መጥቼ ከእርሻው ላይ ሳልነቅለው፣
የሰጠሁህን ሀብት ከመዳፍ ከጉያህ በአንድ
 ጀምበር እድሜ አውጥቼ ሳልጥለው፣
እፍ ያልኩበትን ነፍስ ከውስጥህ ለይቼ
          ወደነበረበት ስፍራ ሳልመልሰው፣
አእምሮ አለህና ነቅተህ ተዘጋጅተህ አደራህን
                ፈጽም አስተውል አንተ ሰው።
ከምን ላይ እንደቆምክ በየት ስፍራ እንዳለህ
           ሕሊናህን መርምር፣
ድንገት ጥሎህ ሳይሔድ ሳይከዳህ ሳይተውህ
 የቆምክበት ምድር።
ቤትህን አስተካክል የፍቅር አንድነት መሠረት
 የለውም ጥላቻ ተሞልቷል፣
ውስጡ ተቦርቡሮ ምሰሶው ተሰብሮ ጣሪያው
 ተነቃቅሎ ውጪው ብቻ ቀርቷል።
እርም አለ በእጅህ ላይ እርምህን ሳትጥል
     አይጸዳም አይቆምም የቤትህ መሠረት፣
በከንቱ እንዳትጥለው የደከምክበትን የአባትህን
 ርስት የያዝከውን እምነት።
ይለናል እግዚአብሔር ለኔም ለአንተም
 ለአንቺም ቃሉን እያሰማ፣
ልብ ያለው ልብ ይበል የአዋጅ ቃል ተነግሯል
 በአገር በከተማ።
ማነው እጀ ንጹሕ ባሕር ከፍሎ የሚወስድ
 ሕዝብን የሚያሻግር?
ሃይማኖት ካለባት ከሐገረ እግዚአብሔር
 ከቃል ኪዳን ምድር። 
ማነው የታረቀ ቀድሞ ከእራሱ ጋር አብሮት
 ከሚኖረው ከሕሊናው ጋራ፣
ከግቡ የሚያደርስ ታሪክ የሚሠራ ከሕዝብ
 የሚቀበል ይኼንን አደራ።
የማን ቃል ይሰማ ማን ነው የሚነግረን ማንን
 እንመልከት፣
መብራቱ ሳይጠፋ ዘይቱን ሳንጨርስ ሳያልቅብን
 ድንገት።
ደረስ ከተፍ ሲል ሙሽራው ሲመጣ ሁሉንም   
            ከእጃችን አራግፈን ጨርሰን፣
ማን ይከፍትልናል ብንጮህ ብናለቅስ በሩን
           ብናንኳኳ ከደጃፍ ላይ ቆመን።
ለተተኪው  ትውልድ ያዘነው  ሰው  ማነው፣
ከአባቱ  ከእናቱ  ምንድን ነው  የሚወርሰው?
አንቺ  እናት  ለልጅሽ   ምን  አዘጋጅተሻል?
የሚጠይቅ   ትውልድ   መኖሩን  አውቀሻል።
መልስ  ይዘህ  እንደሆን አንተ አባት ተናገር፣
ልጅህ    ሲጠይቅህ   የአንድነትን    ነገር።
ማነኝ  ከየት  መጣሁ  ምንድን ነው እምነቴ፣
የሚል   ሕፃን   አለን   በቤትህ   በቤቴ።
አሁን ነው   ማስተዋል   ምን እያረግን ነው?
ተተኪውን   ትውልድ   ማነው  ያስተዋለው?
የሁላችን    ድካም    የሁላችን    ጥረት፣
ዛሬ   ማቃናት  ነው   የነገውን   ሕይወት።
ሁሉ   ሰው  ሲኖረው  ተከታይ   ሲያፈራ፣
ዙሪያውን    ሲከበው    በዘራው አዝመራ፣
መልካም  ነው  ግሩም  ነው ብሎ ሲገፋበት፣
ማነው ያስተዋለው    የጥንቱን    አንድነት?
ጎዳናው   ሲያጓጉዝ   ሲያራምድ አይተነው፣
ባሰበበት   ስፍራ   ሁሉንም   ሲያደርሰው፣
ጊዜያዊውን  ድንኳን  ቋሚ  ቤት አርገነው፣
እኛ እንዲህ ነን  እያልን  ለሰው  ስናሳየው፣
ስንቱ   ግራ   ገባው   ምስኪን  ወገናችን፣
ትቶን   ገደል   ገባ   ወጣና   ከእጃችን።
ምን ቃል  ተናግረነው  በምን  ቃል ይመለስ፣
ልዩነት   መናናቅ  ሞልቶት የእኛን  መንፈስ።
እስኪ   መልሱልኝ መልስ አይጠፋም ከሰው፣
ደርሶ   ከትውልዱ   ማነው   ያስተዋለው?
እኛው   አምጥተነው  ከእኛው ቃል ተምሮ፣
የአምናው   መለያየት   ሲቀጥል  ዘንድሮ፣
የተሻለ    ነገር     ሲጠፋ    ከእጃችን፣
ስንቱ   ዳግም   ሔደ  እያየን  በዓይናችን።
የሥጋ   ሥራ   ነው   ይብቃን  መለያየት፣
ታሪክ   ለመለወጥ   እንቁም    በአንድነት።
ይኽን    ዘረኝነት    ከቤት    ካላስወጣን፣
የአጵሎስ የጳውሎስ ነን ከሚል ቃል ካልጸዳን፣
ውሸት ነው አይሆንም ከእግዚአብሔር ጋር ኑሮ
አንዱን   አንዱ  ንቆት  ሰው በጸብ ተሳስሮ።
ዛሬም  አሮጌ  ልብስ  ምነው  ማጥለቃችን፣
ሁልጊዜ   ድህነት  ሀብት  እያለ  እጃችን።
ክርስቶስ    የሰጠን    ውድ   የተወደደ፣
አዲሱ   ልብሳችን   የታል   ወዴት  ሔደ?
የሞተልን    አምላክ    ስላረገው    ነገር፣
የዓለም    መድኃኒት  ነው ብለን  ስንናገር፣
እንዲህ  በእግዚአብሔር ቤት በዓሉ ሲከበር፣
አሮጌ    ልብሳችን    ምነው    አይቀየር?
ክፋት   እና  ጥፋት   በደል   መተላለፍ፣
ለጎሣ   እና   ለዘር   ለነገድ   መሰለፍ፣
ሥርዓት   ማበላሸት   መሠረትን   ማፍረስ
ደርሶ  ክፉ  መሥራት  እውነትን ማደፍረስ፣
ቂም    በቀል    ጥላቻ  ጥልና  ክርክር፣
አሮጌ   ልብስ ነው  አይጠቅመንም  ይቅር።
ርኅራኄ   ትሕትና   ሰላም  እና   ፍቅር፣
ትዕግሥትና አንድነት ደስታ መልካም ግብር፣
ሊለበስ    ግድ    ይላል    በሰውነታችን፣
ክርስቶስ    የሰጠን    አዲሱ   ልብሳችን።

አንድነት    ሲሰበክ    እኛ    ስንስማማ፣
ብርሃን    ይሆናል    የዛሬው    ጨለማ።
በአንድ   ገበታ   ላይ   የቆረስን   ሰዎች፣
ለምን   ተፈራራን   አባት   እና   ልጆች?
ጨርሶ   ሲዘጋጅ   ኖኅ   መርከቡን ሠርቶ፣
ትውልድን ለማትረፍ ከእግዚአብሔርቃል ሰምቶ
ጥንድ   ጥንድ  አድርጎ  አእዋፍ እንስሳቱን፣
ማነው   ያመጣለት    ከጫካ   አራዊቱን?
አንበሳ  እንዴት  ሰማ  ነብርን  ማን ነገረው?
ከጓደኛው   ጋራ    መንገድ    የጀመረው።
ርግብ  እንዴት  መጣች  ቁራው ከማን ሰማ፣
ለማምለጥ    የቻለው   ድቅድቁን ጨለማ።
ሰውስ ከኖኅ ሰማ  የአባት   ቃል   ሲናገር፣
ድንቅ   የሆነው   ምሥጢር የእንስሳቱ ነገር።
እንደምን   ተረዱ  እንዴት  ነው የምናምን፣
ትውልዱ እንደሚተርፍ መርከቡ እንደሚያድን።
በምድር   የሚሳበው   በአየር   የሚበረው፣
በበረት   የሚያድር   በጫካ   የሚኖረው፣
ኖኅና   መርከቡን   በሩቅ    ተመልክተው፣
ከቁጣ   አመለጡ    ተሸሸጉ    ገብተው።

እግዚአብሔር  ለሁሉም  በቋንቋቸው ነግረህ፣
ኖኅና   መርከቡን   ያሳየህ   አንተ   ነህ።
ወደ እኛ  እንመለስ  የት ነን የት  ቆመናል፣
ስንት   መርከብና   ስንት  ኖኅ  አይተናል?
አንድ መርከብ አለች አንድ  ኖኅ   ያለባት፣
እርሷን  እንከተል  ግብ  መድረሻችን  ናት።
ከእንስሳት የምንበልጥ  የሰው ልጅ  ተብለን፣
እንዴት በአንድ መርከብ  መሰብሰብ ከበደን?
እናንት    ሰባክያን   ወንጌል   የያዛችሁ፣
ካህናት   ሊቃውንት   ዕውቀት   የበዛችሁ፣
ደግሞም   መዘምራን   ቃል   የተሞላችሁ፣
በአንድነት  ተነሡ   ለአንድነት   ብላችሁ።
በዐውደ  ምሕረት  ቆሞ  ዘማሪው  ሲዘምር፣
የሥነ - ጽሑፍ   ሰው   ቅኔ   ሲደረድር፣
ከጫፍ   ጫፍ   ይሰማ   ያስተጋባ  ቃሉ፣
ለዓለም    እንዲሰበክ   የጌታ   ወንጌሉ።
ገና   ነው   ኮረብታው   አልተደለደለም፣
ሸለቆው   አልሞላም   ተራራ  አልተናደም።

እናንተ   መምህራን   ደግሞም   ካህናቱ፣
አደራ    አለባችሁ   ከፊት  ይልቅ በርቱ።
አሁንም    ሊሰበክ    ይገባዋል   ቃሉ፣
ወንጌልን    ባንሰብክ    ወየውልን   በሉ።
ሌላ ሙሴ አይመጣም   ባሕር   የሚከፍል፣
በሰው   የሚወደድ   ቃል  የሚያደላድል።
ወንጌል   የተሰጠው   ቃልን   እንዲናገር፣
ሌላ  ጴጥሮስ   ማነው  ከእናንተ  በስተቀር?
በተለየ    ፍቅሩ    እንዲያ    የወደደን፣
በግልገል    በጠቦት    በበግ    የመሰለን፣
እንዳንጠፋበት  ነው  ተኩላው እንዳይነጥቀን፣
እያስጠነቀቀው     ለጴጥሮስ      የሰጠን።
የአደራ   ልጆች   ነን   እኛ   ምእመናን፣
አደራ   አለባችሁ   በክርስቶስ   ሥልጣን።
ሰብካችሁ  አንድ አርጉን ይኼ ነው ሙሴነት፣
ሌላ  ቃል   የሚሰብክ  ማንን  እንመልከት?
ከእናንተ   ጋራ   ነው  ዛሬም   ለዘላለም፣
ክህነት   የሰጣችሁ   አምላክ መድኃኔዓለም።
የምድሩ  ቀላል  ነው  ይቺማ  ምን  አላት፣
ወንጌል  በእጃችሁ  ነው  ገነት  ለማስገባት።
ይኽን  ያህል  ሥልጣን  ኃይል ነው ያላችሁ፣
ዳግም    ያስተጋባ    ይሰማ    ቃላችሁ።
አንተም አንቺም እኔም በዚህ ቤት ያለነው፣
ስለ ቅድስት  እምነት  ወንጌል  የተማርነው።
በአንድነት  ከመቆም   የሚያግደን  የለም፣
የአደራ  ልጆች  ነን   የመድኃኔዓለም።/፪/

Who do we need to be one with? God,truth,the laws of the church or with those who divided us? with those who divided our country along ethinic lines and who support those policies? I am one with the former.Attempts to be one with the latter resulted in more division. We can cite examples: What happened in Dallas micheal church,in Atlanta,Origan,Chicago,Seatle,etc. We believe our church is one and will remain so forever;but we rejected those people who promote division and who do not care about our church.Is that wrong? If not what will make us one when, as you say, 'we become one' Accepting those anti- Ethiopia ana anti- Tewahedo guys?
I want you to clarify it to me what do you mean by 'lets be one'? Yes,there are those who say the Holy Synod is with them in America.They separated themselves from the one church.If you meant that I agree with you,but if you mean churches that do not mention the name of the patriarch now in power,that does not make a church separated from the mother church.And at this time,the messangers of TPLF are on mission to disturb and divide the daispora.Hope you are not a victim of this mission.

All of us should struggle for the unity of the Church. The name Woyane shouldn't be mentioned in the history of our Church, as they are not part of it. Indeed, they need to control and interfere in any organization and Church activities so as to elongate their temporary power. But today what I would like to mention for you is that you should see beyond the mountain to save the existing new and next generation. When we talk about Woyane, protestants and Muslim phantics got opportunities to invade our Church, snatch our members, kill our identity, and so on. Please be alert enough to think twice before you take an immediate action to give response for the written article. EOTC is not belong to TPLF. If the written article is true and our unity is important for our Church and its growth, just appreciate and do the right things. If you think the message of the article is not important, just oppose the content. Don't start spliting hair while the message is obvious and understandable.

Yes, we all agree we need to work towards unifying our church.But who is not in the unity? In my opinion,the people who are now outside of the unity are those fathers and their followers abroad who claim that the Holy Synod is in refugee with them in America.This claim makes them separated from the Holy Synod even though their accussations of the assumption of patriarchy and other church administration issues are believed to be right.Hence, bringing up those fathers and companies to unity should be what we all need to try in our capacity. However,when those same people who caused all these terrible situation in our church in the first place label us as if we are outside of the unity for not mentioning Aba Paulos's name,we ought to tell them that we are under the unity except mentioning the patriarch's name which has nothing to do with unity of the church.And we have to tell them that it is done so because he is not up to the cannon of the church in his deeds.
The other point that Gud -Fela ...raised refers to the next generations.The writer of this comment believes that children need to know the right history of their church and their parents native country.In order to do this the name of those enemies of Tewhedo and Ethiopia is not compulsory;and if it needs to be mentioned it should be raised accordingly;thatis,what they have done to our church and to that great country,how much hurt they inflicted to our church and our country. I strongly oppose the tactic by these same people and their messangers to transfer blame to the innocent laity who loves and entrusted to die to its church and country. Should we accept all that have been done to our church over the last 17 years and cooperate with them in their destruction activities? No,we should not! One way of demonstrating this opposition is ommitting the patriach's name in mass and other church services.
With regards to the expansion of moslems and heresies,I do not blame them they are citizens of that country and have every right to expand.We can not and should no transfer our weaknesses to their actions. If not for the irresponsibility of our fathers,they would not be doing this much harm to our church. Because the group in power wants cheap popularity and 'our fathers'do not want to oppose that group, a lot of unfateful things have had happened to our church. As the saying," Balebetual yetemamenech beg jiratuan wuche tasadralech." Whenever and wherever problems arise between christians and moslems the group in power sides with the moslems,kill,maim and jail christians. This is done so because 'our' shepherds are not ours.So the responsible bodies are not our moslems or heresies,but our bosses!

Blaming others and sitting idle is nonsense. I don’t think you are Yetewahedo Lij as long as you feel nothing when we say that our ancient Church is invaded by others denominations. What I was trying to say in my previous article is that those denominations got an opportunity to exploit our members, to disdain our religion, to steel our identity, to distort our Orthodoxy, and to dissolve our reputation. I am talking about our religion, but you are telling me that they are citizens of that country. As an Orthodox, I have never accepted and I will never accept your groundless futile message regarding to the expansion of others denominations. At least you should show us your remorse about the incident instead of appreciating their deeds. Complacency is a disease that never be cured.

There are so many political organizations that need all the Churches in Diasporas remain independent with no spiritual communications with our synod. If you are part of that group, I hope our ideas will never be reconciled. If you, really, are part of the solution that has passions to stand to see the light of unity, I need to see your struggle to bring changes. There are people in Ethiopia who oppose the deeds of the patriarch and his accompanies, but still calling the name of the patriarch and bishop of the diocese during the mass. Calling the name of the patriarch doesn’t mean that supporting the patriarch but the Church cannon. If we really are ready to be one with our Church dogma, doctrine, cannon, and tradition, there are three dioceses in the U.S.A where we are able to convey our message. Believe me, whether you like it or not, most of the time we are entertaining politics in the name of the Church. Have you seen the people in your Church who come to the Church once in a while just to fulfill his/her political desire? Don’t you know the people who come to the Church just to take advantage of the congregation? (I hope you are not one of the people who come only for his/her own advantage). The Church and its surroundings are fully packed with politicians who don’t mind about the fall and rise of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church. What was your effort to show us the intended integration of our Church come true? Since we are infected by the ill spirit of segregation and far away of from integration, we always try to complain and give assignments to others so that they will bring changes. Yetewahedo Lij, you can be part of a solution by participating. Don’t push anyone to the fire and expect to fight a good fight while you stand far from the fire and the battle to see the outcome of the fight. I hope you have understood all what I want to say.

1.If you accept that you and the church you go has not spiritual relation with the Holy Synod,then all what you have been doing and the services you get in that church has been but to no avail,unorthodox.
2.you cannot correct the problem by blaming other denominations and the moslems;inspite of that, we need to address the cause of the problem. The group in power want us to fight eachother so that they prolong their life in power;thus we need to wake up and oppose the very group that is the essence of division.
3.We need to learn from experience.In the name of unity what we have seen is division,not solution to the problem.
4.Why we blame the faithful who say a spad a spad?Aba paulos's deeds are out of the churches law.Either he has to correct the wrong actions or he has to be rejected.He is unwilling to do so;so his name is not mentioned in the daispora christians except by a small group of tplf supporters and very few hodams.
5.With regards to the laity in Ethiopia,if they had a chance like us they do not want to hear that name.If somebody does not mention that name, you know what would happen to him and here
6.If you really believe in what you say why not you go where the name of the patriach is mentioned?
